What is your cancellation policy?

I run a small service business, where each appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Because sessions are scheduled in advance and often, preparation time is allocated accordingly, cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment do not provide sufficient time to offer that time slot to another client. To add that some of the studios I work with also require the full deposit of the room booking fee if the cancellation is less than 48h, for similar reasons. For this reason, any cancellation or rescheduling request made within 48 hours of the appointment is subject to the full session fee + booking system fee**.

Please note that exceptions may be made at my sole discretion in certain circumstances. This policy helps ensure fairness, protects reserved appointment times, and supports the sustainability of my livelihood.

*Unit 6, Tilia Road studio, requires a full room booking fee of £15/h for cancellations within 48h bracket. The cost of the booking fee at St Joseph’s Hospice is £11/h.

For cancellations made in advance of the 48h window, participants have two options:

  1. Use the credit to reschedule, without incurring costs.

  2. Cancel and receive a full refund*.

    • 5–10 business days for the money to appear back on the customer’s card.

    • In some cases (depending on the bank/card network), it can take up to 14 days.

If I have to cancel or reschedule a session due to illness or unexpected circumstances, I will email you as much in advance as possible. For all cancellations and reschedules made by me, I will offer a full refund of your session, along with other rescheduling options based on our particular therapeutic connection.
